A new Apple patent points towards using your iPod (and I think iPhone) as recording and playing device for TV media. Basically creating a great portable DVR. This falls nicely in line with my Gadget Consolidation thoughts. Just add streaming to the mix and we’re halfway there.

Google launched it’s first Google branded phone today, the Nexus One. It looks like a great product and should be the start of the next generation of smart phones. One feature that I can see setting this phone apart from other smart phones is its voice feature (see video below). They’ve implemented this very nicely [...]

Daniel Brusilovsky found a great little tool with which you can analyze the RGB value of every pixel on your screen. Like him, I didn’t even know it existed. Should come in handy for anyone who works with colors on a Mac.

No need for large storage space or a physical copy. You just need enough bandwidth and processing power [...]

Another development concerning HTML5. Seems Google is pushing HTML5 by first creating it’s own product to get everybody to see the advantages of the coming HTML5. Nice to be able to do that as a company. Another step in the direction of the Browser OS.

Great post on Lifehacker about what HTML5 is and how it will influence the way you will use the web and the way developers will develop for the web. Especially the video embedding could be a major step forward for cross browser, cross platform streaming video content delivery, since you will no longer need to [...]
